Because my 'big' Nikon became too heavy for me to carry around all the time, I bought this camera. It is a so-called 'bridge' camera, with a large part of the possibilities of an SLR, but with a fixed lens. In this case, a lens that is equivalent to 25 to 400 mm for a normal Full Frame camera. The weight is indeed a big difference: 831 grams, while my Nikon weighs almost 2 kilos with a telephoto lens. The sensor in this camera is a 1-inch sensor with a resolution of 5472 x 3648 (20.1 megapixels).
